The Journal
Nice to meet you…

She’s (quite possibly) one of the nicest people we’ve ever met – as well as being incredibly organised, efficient, and knowing just the right moment to pop the kettle on. Working closely with our Co-Founders and team, Anna keeps us all organised and in the right place at the right time. We don’t know what we’d do without her!
What do you love most about being part of the Nature’s Journey team?
I know it’s a cliché, but the phrase “there is no ‘I’ in team” couldn’t be truer – everyone really treats each other with such kindness, empathy, and respect. I feel very privileged to be part of such a wonderful team of highly knowledgeable experts. I also love testing new products – it’s definitely a perk of the job!
Describe a typical day in your role
Honestly, no two days are the same – especially as we’re still a small team. It really is all hands on deck. One minute I can be preparing a customer order, while the next I’m working on something for social media or supporting our Co-Founders on projects. Variety is the spice of life as they say!
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
“Speak to those who don’t matter, as it matters to them”. I believe that everyone matters – and it costs nothing to say ‘Good morning’ or ‘Thank you’. I remember when my son was young, he asked why I said “Hello” to every person we saw when walking to school. I explained that, for some people, it might be the only conversation they have that day. I like to think that he does the same now.
What are your favourite products in the range?
I love Restoring Night Cream – it really does do what it says on the jar. The consistency is just right on my skin as part of my night-time routine, and the aroma is so relaxing and comforting. During the winter months, I also use it as a richer day cream. Talking of bedtime, my other favourite is the Relax Aromatherapy Rollerball – I apply it generously to my wrists and forearms before getting into bed. If I toss and turn during the night, the comforting aroma soon helps me drift back off to sleep.
What does wellbeing mean to you?
It’s all about mind and body. When my mind is calm and relaxed, I have a good overall sense of wellbeing, but as I progress in years I have noticed how important exercise is to maintaining my personal wellbeing. I love to go swimming a few mornings a week before heading to the office, and it really sets me up for the day. I’m also a fair-weather cyclist, so I’m looking forward to being able to cycle to work during the Summer. When it comes to diet, I really enjoy cooking fresh, nutritious meals for the family – and it helps me to switch off after a busy day. I don’t believe in ‘weight-loss’ goals. My goal is to feel content and able to deal with each day with a positive attitude.
Describe your perfect self-care day
I’d wake up naturally, have a long shower using my ‘special’ products, exfoliate and moisturise head to toe, then, put on my (rather eclectic) playlist and take some time with Radiance Facial Oil just massaging into my face and neck, and using any surplus on my cuticles and hands. I’d pick out an outfit that I feel good in, and plan something lovely for dinner. Then I’d make myself a cup of coffee (mine’s an oak milk latte) and treat myself to an at-home mani-pedi. I feel chilled just thinking about it!
What is your motto in life?
Positivity is paramount – I believe it is reflected and appreciated in all that you do.
