What are the skincare benefits of using CBD?
Studies have shown that CBD can have powerful anti-inflammatory effects. And inflammation affects more than just redness or swelling of the skin – it also plays a role in skin dryness, acne and signs of ageing. Therefore, using CBD oil in skincare is a clever and natural way to help with all these conditions. And of course, when CBD is combined with other essential skincare ingredients, such as natural plant extracts, essential oils, omega oils and vitamins, your skin receives a supercharged boost.
I have sensitive skin; can I still use CBD products?
Yes, one of the benefits of CBD is that it has been found to have significant soothing properties for sensitive skin. Its substantial skin-calming and skin-normalising effects can help minimise issues related to skin sensitivity, including redness and reactivity.
All our products are formulated to be as mild and gentle as possible; however, there are no guarantees that individual products within our range will suit everyone. We would always recommend that you carry out a patch test prior to using any new skincare product for the first time.
A little of the product should be applied to a small area such as the crook of the elbow or behind the ear at least 24 hours before using it.
How soon before I see results?
It’s all about routine, healthy looking, glowing, blemish free skin doesn’t happen overnight. As with all skincare products, it’s important to follow the usage instructions, most people find they have results that are long-lasting with regular use. Our skin undergoes a 28-day cycle of renewal and so you should expect to start seeing a difference at this point, if not sooner.
