Our journey to a more sustainable future

Our journey to a more sustainable future

It goes without saying that we’re more than a little bit passionate about protecting our planet – not least because we rely on the natural world and all it has to offer to power our range of wellness solutions.

When it comes to the planet, we know a lot of brands say a lot of things. But words don’t make the difference. Actions do.

So, in this article we’re sharing some of the commitments that we’ve made to start us on our ethical business journey towards a sustainable future for everyone.

A shared vision. A united commitment

Everyone who works with us – whether they’re a member of our team, a supplier, adviser, or agency is selected not only for their skills and experience, but for their commitment to upholding the standards we’ve set and our vision for the future.

All our third-party partners are subject to regular audits to ensure that they continue to uphold the highest levels of transparency, ethics, and sustainability.

Work where you want

We’re big fans of WFH– and dare we say, we’ve even grown fond of video calls (even if we still have to remind each other that we’re on mute on a daily basis).

We believe it’s a better way to do business – it gives our team the flexibility in their working day to do what they need to do –it means less time travelling and more time doing what we love.

Not only that - but it also reduces our carbon footprint by not taking unnecessary journeys, or heating and lighting an office.

A hand up, not a hand-out

We want to make a difference in our local community, so we donate a percentage of our annual sales to causes close to our hearts, to help them continue their vital work, as well as offering our time free of charge to help mentor those who need a helping hand.

Waste not, want not.

We produce all our products in small batches, so that we never make more than we need – it means that we can prevent landfill of ‘out of date’ products.

Our products are packaged primarily in glass, and where we need to use plastic, we ensure that it is Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR). We’re working on a way to enable you to return empty glass jars and bottles back to us, as well as the option to purchase refills in the near future.

Our despatch boxes are too good to use only once, so we encourage you to use them again – they make great storage boxes!

All the card and paper we use across the range is FSC® certified and Carbon Balanced by World Land Trust, helping to reduce the environmental impact, and ensuring that forests are responsibly managed.

Progress not perfection.

We know there’s a lot still to do, and we’re constantly looking at new ways to do things better. We’ll keep you posted on our progress...
